Our Journey

Alhamdulillah, fifteen years after our community began gathering and eleven years after we procured our land, we broke ground in November 2024 on South Denver's first purpose-built masjid in forty years. Construction is now well underway.

Construction Progress

With the help and mercy of Allah SWT, the first phase of construction is complete. Phase one laid the foundation of the building and completed the basement shell, covering excavation, underground plumbing, compaction of the ground beneath the building, basement footings, basement walls, and the basement floor. The cost of this phase was $1.39 million, and every expense has been paid in full through the generosity of our donors.

Reaching this point took countless duas and the unwavering support of our community, from overcoming legal challenges in 2017 to securing all building and development permits in 2024.

We Need Your Support

To complete the construction of Masjid Khadeejah, we need to raise $6,000,000. This is an opportunity for sadaqa jariya - to help build a house of Allah that will serve our community for generations to come. With the land already paid for and all permits secured, your donations will go directly toward construction costs.

Our Growing Community

Our diverse community continues to thrive, even as we currently hold services across hotels in the DTC area. We serve more than 300 attendees across two Friday prayers and offer youth education programs. The new masjid will provide a permanent home for our growing community and expand our ability to serve future generations, insha'Allah.
